Mark Brogley, Founder / CEO

Mark is a seasoned entrepreneur having started 6 companies over the past decade. He brings over 25 years of combined experience in management, sales/marketing and engineering to his role as Founder and CEO of Atlas Guides. Mark is responsible for the overall strategy, sales management, product development and operations.

In 2001, Mark helped start All Star Directories, Inc, a highly successful Seattle-based online lead-generation company focused on the higher-education market. All Star launched 13 vertical-market online directories in 7 years, as well as related affiliate websites.

Mark was strategic to the growth of All Star and remained thru Q3 2007, one year after the successful acquisition of All Star by Austin Ventures in Q4 2006. All Star was ranked the 256th fastest growing private company in the US on INC.com's "2006 5,000 List" and has been consistently ranked by The Puget Sound Business Journal as one of the top 15 fastest growing private companies in WA. In 2005, All Star moved up from 5th in 2004, to the 3rd fastest growing private company in WA with a 1,217% annual revenue growth rate.

In addition, for over 10 years Mark has managed Brogley Enterprises LLC, a consulting firm focused on start-ups, search engine marketing and sales process improvements.

Prior to All Star Directories, Mark was Co-Founder and VP Sales & Business Development of NtraPoint, Inc. an enterprise software start-up focused on Fortune 1000 companies in the telecommunications industry. Before starting NtraPoint, Mark was a Program Manager with General Electric Information Services (GEIS) working directly with one of GE's joint venture start-ups in the online content management sector.

For over nine years prior to GE, Mark held positions in sales management, engineer services and R&D with Corning Cable Systems, the industry leader in fiber optic technologies. During his tenure at Corning R&D, he received a U.S. Patent.

Mark received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with honors, from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech).

Debbie Parigian, CFO

Debbie is a focused and hands-on senior financial executive with over 28 years experience in a variety of industries for a number of early- and mid-stage companies. She has played a major role in the development of their growth strategies and establishing the internal systems required to handle their growth. Debbie has also served as a board member, founder, investor and consultant with a number of emerging growth companies. Both as a full-time employee and consultant, Debbie has helped companies like Learning.com, Deschutes River Broadcasting, Pactel Products, HomeTown Buffet, SelectMetrics and more achieve their goals.

Debbie has strong problem identification and resolution skills and is results oriented with the ability to maximize resources. Her areas of expertise include working with start-up and high growth companies in the financial and operational areas, preparing companies for an IPO, mergers, acquisitions and sale of businesses, tax strategies and cash management, accurate and timely financial reporting, development of policies, procedures and controls, and developing and maintaining legal, banking and other professional relationships.

Debbie (current CPA) will be responsible for managing all finance operations for Atlas Guides LLC.

The Atlas Sales Team

Mark has hired a fantastic team of experienced online lead-generation Sales Executives.

Several worked directly with Steve Hirsh at www.ComputerTrainingSchools.com (CTS) and helped launch CTS. They were directly responsible for CTS' tremendous growth and they continued with CTS after it was sold, to help successfully transition all CTS clients to QuinStreet.

Another Atlas Sales Executive is a former sales executive for All Star who worked directly with Mark for almost 5 years. He helped launch many of the All Star directory websites and was personally responsible for the extremely successful and highly ranked www.AllPsychologySchools.com . He stayed after the Austin Venture acquisition of All Star Directories to assist in the transition plan through early 2008.

Additional high-quality and seasoned Sales Executives from a variety of related industries are currently being recruited, hired and trained.

The Atlas Sales Team is highly motivated with a lucrative commission package and ownership "share plan".

Tom Blumer (Platform Architect)

Tom worked with Mark for over 5 years while at All Star Directories (Development Manager and System Architect) developing All Star’s main lead-generation software platform.

He is now ensuring that the Atlas platform is robust, scalable and extremely flexible for today's business environment. Tom has also helped hire an experienced lead-generation development team (former All Stars who worked under him) who have been working seamlessly on the Atlas platform.

Tom has over 30 years of industry experience in PHP/MySQL Development, Software Development Management, Software Patents, and Computer Communication Protocols. Tom’s software development career includes work at Bell Labs, Bolt Beranek and Newman, SoftSet Associates (Co-Founder), Phoenix Technologies (Dir. Systems Engineering), and Vermeer Technologies (software developer, patents). When Microsoft acquired Vermeer, Tom joined the FrontPage team and worked directly with Mike Mathieu at Microsoft.

Tom earned his M.S. in Computer Science from University of Wisconsin-Madison and a B.S. in Mathematics from Michigan State University.

Steve Hirsch (Executive Consultant)

Steve is an online lead generation guru.

  • Steve received a B.S.E. in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of Business.
